The Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust (LTCT) has extended the application deadline for its Vocational Bursary Scheme to 15 May 2026. The scheme opened on 1 April and is available to students currently studying at college
The scheme provides financial support to students undertaking full-time Level 2, 3 or 4 vocational courses at UK colleges. The bursary is designed to help families working in the grocery and pharmacy trades meet the costs associated with further education and skills-based training.
Eligible applicants must have a parent or carer employed in an eligible trade and a household income below £30,000. Funding can be used towards course materials, equipment, travel, or other essential study-related expenses.
The Vocational Bursary Scheme reflects the charity’s long-standing commitment to supporting multiple pathways into education and recognising the value of practical and technical learning alongside traditional academic routes.
Applications will now remain open until 15 May 2026.
