The Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust was established in 1925, by the Will of William Hesketh Lever, who left a share of his wealth to provide grants for the benefits of chemists, grocers and commercial travellers, and for their families.
What we do
- We provide help with university costs through our undergraduate and postgraduate bursary schemes. Apply for a bursary.
- We make grants to registered charities that provide welfare support to chemists, grocers and commercial travellers, or to their families.
- We provide assistance with fees for children of chemists, grocers and commercial travellers attending the sixth form of schools with a historic connection to the Trust.
- We fund research fellowships for pharmacists through Pharmacy Research UK.
