The Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust (LTCT) will open applications for its Vocational Bursary Scheme on 1 April 2026 for students currently studying at college.
The scheme provides financial support to students undertaking full-time Level 2, 3 or 4 vocational courses at UK colleges. The bursary is designed to help families working in the grocery and pharmacy trades, meet the costs associated with further education and skills-based training.
Eligible applicants must have a parent or carer employed in an eligible trade and a household income below £30,000. Funding can be used towards course materials, equipment, travel, or other essential study-related expenses.
The Vocational Bursary Scheme reflects the charity’s long-standing commitment to supporting multiple pathways into education and recognising the value of practical and technical learning alongside traditional academic routes.
Applications will remain open until 30 April 2026, or until available funding has been fully allocated, whichever is soonest.
