Pharmacy School Essentials Grant opens on 2 June 2026

The Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust (LTCT) has announced that its Pharmacy School Essentials Grant will open on Tuesday 2 June 2026

The grant provides financial support to those working in community pharmacy who need help with the costs of preparing their children for the new school year. Eligible applicants can receive £150 per school-age child, for up to three children per household.

The scheme is designed to ease the financial pressure associated with back-to-school essentials, including items such as uniforms, stationery and travel costs.

To be eligible, applicants must be currently employed in a community pharmacy (or be a registered pharmacist or pharmacy technician), have been in their role for at least six months, and be receiving Universal Credit for school-age children.

Applications will open at 9am on 2 June 2026. Those wishing to apply are encouraged to ensure they have the required documentation ready, as incomplete submissions are a common reason for delays or rejection.

The Pharmacy School Essentials Grant reflects the Trust’s ongoing commitment to supporting families working in the pharmacy sector and helping to ease financial pressures where they are most acute.
