Due to an overwhelming demand in undergraduate bursary applications during 2025, we are making changes to the deadlines for this scheme in 2026
What is changing
Our two application rounds in March and October will be consolidated into a single application round in October .
Applications for this round will open on 1 August 2026, and to apply, applicants must already be at university or starting university in September/October 2026.
The closing date for applications will be 15 October 2026, 5pm.
What’s not changing
The total funding available remains the same — we’re committed to supporting just as many eligible undergraduate bursaries as before.
Why the change?
This adjustment will help streamline our operations and allow us to better support applicants throughout the process. The Trust is also in the process of moving to a new Grants Managements System in 2026.
